Prof. Sai Kishore Ravi coordinated an academic exchange at Jilin University for SEE students, focusing on catalysis and solar-to-chemical energy conversion.
In the summer of 2024, students from the School of Energy and Environment (SEE), City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) participated in an enriching academic exchange program at Jilin University. The program, led by Prof. Xiaoqiang Cui from Jilin University (JLU) and Prof. Sai Kishore Ravi from CityUHK, focused on catalysis and solar-to-chemical energy conversion. Participants attended a series of workshops and lectures, offering deep dives into the latest research and developments in these fields. They also toured state-of-the-art research facilities at JLU including, State Key Lab of Inorganic Synthesis & Preparative Chemistry, State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, Key Laboratory of Automotive Materials providing firsthand exposure to JLU’s energy research. The program facilitated direct interaction with leading researchers, allowing students to engage in meaningful academic discussions and collaborative learning.
